Mourning a Terrorist’s Death

With the Congress-led UPA government running the show, it is only to be expected that they will steadfastly support all kinds of terrorists, dead or alive. Especially so, when a Nobel-recipient terrorist is dead. With the world’s oldest terrorist, Yaseer Arafat now confirmed “officially dead,” several stalwarts from India have eagerly jumped the mourning bandwagon. They should: in the interests of secularism, and to assure the Islamofascists Muslim brethren that they are not being treated as merely a vote bank.

The choice of those headed to Palestine is telling: Nutwar Singh, Lalu Yadav, and Comrade Sitaram Yechury. Nutwar Singh has to go because he has “earned” it and “owes” it to the Gandhi family. Lalu Yadav of course would have anyway gone because Muslims apart from the Yadavs, constitute his vote bank, and Comrade Yechury! do you really need to ask the reason?

After tormenting Israel in particular and the entire strip for several decades now, and receiving a Nobel for the lofty acts of terror, Yaseer has ensured that after death the burning torch of his legacy will remain that way: burning.

However, within hours of the death of Arafat ? a Nobel Peace Prize winner ? militants from his Fatah movement attacked a Jewish settlement in Gaza in what they said signalled the start of a new round of clashes with Israel.

Just when we thought that the previous regime had started to move in the right direction by allying with Israel, the secular bunch seems to be hellbent on wrecking it.
