Thanks Ravikiran for pointing me to this report. Just the other day I had written a book review about the Pinkos’ U-turn–among other records of their insidiousness–during the Quit India Movement. This news report smacks of the same stuff.

It was not very long ago that a couple of the retarded relics of the CPI–Harkishen Surjeet and Yechury–made a “careless” statement, which sent our stock market crumbling. The Commies seem to have realized that some amount of their hated capitalist system is essential. Not that they’ve had a change of heart. The reason is simple: they realize that their outdated slogans no longer find any takers especially among the middle class, which has seen the power that economic freedom gives them. And they’re unwilling to revert to the 9-5 era, the “glorious” PSU jobs which require you only to punch in your time: forget professional challenges or the satisfaction of having accomplished/created something brings you. Sorry, but nobody buys that any longer. So they’re siding with capitalism to achieve their perverse ends. Read this.
Mr Dasgupta reiterated his party’s demand that the government roll back the increase in prices of petroleum products, suggesting that the revenue loss be recovered from “broad-based taxation, including increasing tax on rich”.
So you see the answer. Keep the rich men so you can milk them and use that money for inanities like the common minimum programme, employment guarantee, and other inanities.
