More Bending Before Naxals

A few days earlier, I wrote this post about Dharam Singh kowtowing before the Naxals. This news should jostle him awake; I have serious doubts though. Ever since Dharam has taken over as the Chief Minister:

  • He has embarked on a voyage of visiting important places of pilgrimage in Karnataka offering pooja and arranging for all kinds of rituals to ensure that his position is safe.
  • If the news I read in a local paper is to be believed, the “Honourable” Chief Minister’s house has now turned into a battlefield of astrologers.
  • He has flaunted the most vulgar display of secularism by attending Benny “Fraud” Hinn’s rock concert healing show.
  • He has also screamed aloud that he is but the puppet of Madam in putting a stop to the STF operations against the Naxals.
  • I’m beginning to wonder if India is really a democracy. Or has the “people get what they deserve,” proverb rung true here?
