This guy invariably gets on your nerves. It's surprising how he actually gets away with appellatives such as "senior parliamentarian", "respected leader","celebrated politician"; off course most which are attributed to him by English press (who else?). But really, i don't know how many people have actually heard him speak in Parliament. I once had the misfortune of listening to him live on T.V during the good ol' Vajpayee days, and man, this guy sucks big time! He is crude,crass,undignified to the point of even being vulgur at times. You can have nothing but unadulterated, 24-carat contempt for this Pinko. That he's respected in the media and his word carries weight actually makes a sad comment on our media. But really nobody accused the media of having higher standards anyways. Speaking of commies, don't you guys think that being born in West Bengal is worse than having been born at all ? I mean atleast in Kerela people get a breather every 5 years from Commies. And China is as good as capitalist now. But i feel one entire generation of people born in West Bengal, did not see life at all !! People say we either go to hell or heaven after death. Well, you know what, if you take a train from Bombay to Calcutta, you have already taken a journey to hell. I read a good article of Balbir Punj today & he qouted Winston Churchill.And it goes "The inherent vice of capitalism is unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent vice of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries." - Sir Winston Churchill Somnath Chaterjee.
