I watch NDTV, when I feel bored and want to witness some tamasha. It provides us entertainment. Its amazing to watch how finely they act as Congress Party PR agents. Their finesse is remarkable. An unsuspecting viewer will certainly go for their "truth".

Well I dont have NDTV. Not sure whether it's available in UK. But the ones i get here (Star News & Zee News) are just as hopeless. Ofcourse Shiv Sena hitting out at Valentine's day bash in Mumbai is outrageous but so is Indian minister issuying statements amounting to contract killings. I've closely monitered the reporting of Indian media in general, while Shiv Sena was singled out for criticism (and rightly so) but many reports on cartoon were sypathetic to the Muslim stand in general.

Take this this TOI article for example. The headline goes as "No Muslim support for fatwas against cartoonist". I scanned the article for a single comment condemning the courts, to my dismay found none. AIMPLB just says that the Islamic court has no right to issue fatwas, that doesnt mean that dont support the death fatwa!

Such intellectual dishonesty is dissappointing but sadly predictable. It just adds to the hopelessness, i feel about the land of my birth.

handed down the verdict. He was fed plain flat bread, vegetable curry and given an earthenware jar of water, like all the other prisoners, Chauhan said. Part of the reason the public is thrilled is because it happens so rarely in India. Unlike theJessica Lall case where moneyed and powerful guys got away without a scratch, Salman has actually been punished if we're to believe this Chauhan guy. What's more disgusting is the comparison that Bollywood has been making to this and the Jessica Lall case. I
