Was going through your post “The crown prince of India”
I wonder if you missed a report on TV few days back regarding the list released by GOI of appointments and persons who are exempted from customs check at the airport.
It seems that apart from the regular appts, two persons have been exempted by name 1. HH Dalai Lama and 2. Mr Robert Wadra

It is more insulting to note that even the three service chiefs(Army, Navy & Air Force) are not exempted
