Kingsley has one of the best posts I’ve read over the past few days on the subject of blog blocking.
While following the groundswell of conversation that welled up among Indian bloggers (even a touching offer of help from Pakistan), something became frightfully clear: most of the people who were writing against censorship and for freedom [...]
Because all other radio channels were playing cacophony, my options were reduced to listening to the AIR Hindi news just half an hour ago.
I was amazed when the newscaster mentioned the blog banning issue, and specifically mentioned blogspot and then announced the bloggers’ plan to move the Supreme Court.
Isn’t this a victory of sorts?
is expressed here. Read in full.
Sonia Gandhi and her troupe of jokers will pay lip service along the lines of, “the perpetrators will not be spared” even as the evil doers, safe across the border, plan the next attack; cash compensation will be announced but even this meagre amount will be never received, because 90 [...]
OpiniPundit is both witty and incisive; look at the brighter side of this blog banning nonsense: the retards in the UPA have actually done us a favour. If this censorship hadn’t happened, we wouldn’t have discovered such wonderful blogs.

Dr. Walid Phares writes an informative piece on the Bombay train explosions and mostly gets it right.
Is this the beginning of the Jihadi war on India? Yes and no. Yes it is a jihadist war on India, but no, the trains’ bombings weren’t the beginning of that war. Unlike the U.S., Spain, and the UK, [...]
What is more interesting: the Bombay terror attacks or the spirit/resilience/hardiness/fighting spirit?
Barely a few hours after the blasts, the media began thrusting the “spirit of Mumbai” tonic down the nation’s throat to an extent that it buried news of the tragedy.
Javed Akhtar is choked to tears, he’s unable to speak, he can only mumble sorrowfully at the terror attack. Just reading his emotionally-charged reaction overwhelmed me to an extent that my computer screen is wet with my vomit tears.
How to describe the Mumbai blasts? It is an abominable, monstrous and gruesome act of terrorism [...]
While the whole nation is preoccupied with the Bombay blasts, the HRD dumbass has sneaked in another slaughter-proposal.
In the midst of controversy on the OBC quota in elite educational institutions, HRD Minister Arjun Singh on Wednesday said that Muslims could be given reservation under the constitutional norms of backwardness.
Arjun “Slaughter” Singh seems to be on [...]
