It is interesting how even this guy’s name starts with “D” like the one we all know and love. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard about Dinesh D’Souza but this blog didn’t pay him attention because he hadn’t done anything attention-worthy except spinning
writing a now-famous paean on the glories of American democracy.
But now he has. Done something really attention-worthy.
He has reeled out
written an entire book praising Islam… well that’s not entirely accurate… like a blue-blooded Dhimmi, he has blamed the victim for inviting the aggressor’s wrath.
Enough said.
Read Robert Spencer’s juicy dissection of D’Souza.
Also read the devastating reviews he’s got for his “book.”
This blog wishes a Warm Welcome to the latest entrant of the rapidly-multiplying breed of American pseudosecularists.

“Cultural left and Its Responsibility for 9/11″!! just like what cheney calls “Al-Queida types”.
I saw him on an interview (Stewart/Colbert I donot remember) where he did not make any sense.
PS: Do you know if d3 of the blog and d3 of USA are related to each other?

I think both Dilip and Dinesh D’souza are very much related and are brothers. I remember reading that somewhere.

Sandeep, do you have a bio of yours anywhere on your blog? Just curious.
On 01.31.07 Sandeep says:
Nope. The two Ds are not related but have shared a cup of coffee or some social thing like that.
On 01.31.07 Sandeep says:
Thalassa,
Nope. My life isn’t interesting enough to have a bio.

Sandeep,
Sorry about the off topic comment - I sent you a mail some time back at the sanwr…. mail ID. Just wondering if that was the right mail ID to contact you.
On 01.31.07 Sandeep says:
Yes Nagaraj,
I received your email. Work and other issues are keeping me busy. Will reply shortly.

Sandeep, Dinesh D’Souza is not your garden variety pesudosecularist. He is also, as you may have gathered from the book reviews, a rabid Christian fundamentalist. He has dated Anne Coulter, no less! Make of him what you will
On 02.01.07 Chandra says:
I don’t think you can categorize Dinesh D’ Souza (I thought he was brother of other D too) as pseudosecularist. He may be apologizing for jihadis but he’s aiming at the far left. He is hand-in-glove with American religious right-wingers. This book may put them at odds at least for the apologies bit. He is trying to create space between the two groups where, increasing, there is none - as we can see in Afzal’s case.
On 02.01.07 Sandeep says:
Actualy, I forgot to mention, I am related to Dinesh D’Souza. I am his twin-brother.

Here is another resident idiot, as you term these dudes…. And he writes this crap in a leading daily in India….. Most of what he writes is completely uncalled for…. especially when the HSS was a frontrunner in the Hurricane Katrina relief operations
