As far as our government is concerned, don’t you feel happy that they have not imposed zazia on Hindus again?
Incorrect. We have Jaziya in several different forms imposed on us already. I can safely call it the Dhimmi Jaziya (=Jaziya imposed by Dhimmis on themselves). Over the recent months, the gentle Manmohan Singh has gone on an overdrive to create Muslim villages, Muslim-first-claim schemes…well, special privileges for Muslims in the whole economy. If all goes well, we’ll soon see Islamic banking debuting in India.
Jaziya in multitudinous forms.
These guys could teach several lessons to Aurangzeb.
Update: My bad! Thanks to readers, I forgot the Haj Subsidy, the most conspicuous and long-lasting Jaziya around.

“These guys could teach several lessons to Aurangzeb.” Well said. At times Auranzeb looks quite ‘moderate’ compared to these UPA (Un Provoked Assasins).
