I saw some of the bullshit served up by Harish Khare in The Hindu today in the editorial pages. He is so shocked at Modi's rise in prestige that he's now desperately hoping to convert it into a BJP vs. Modi thing.

Also NDTV is going on a war footing to "analyze" Modi as though he is a labaratory specimen.

Bastards. The english media are making me even sicker than ever before.

After going horribly wrong in their poll predictions one would expect the English language media to eat crow. No such luck it seems. Instead we are bombarded with more psychological trash with flop sociologists like Asish Nandy and pop historians like Ramchandra Guha. If Asish Nandy thinks he is Jung incarnate, it is he who suffers from hubris and not the object of his derision.

It is time we asked the same question of the Prannoy Roys, Barkha Dutts and the Vinod Mehtas of the world that Vinod Mehta has asked about Narendra Modi in the previous issue of Outlook - "What makes them tick"?

Funny thing is, the NDTV/BarkhaTV link has a poll, "Will Modi's hatrick burry Godhra debate forever?" If you click yes the website says Service Unavailable. If you click 'no' the service suddenly becomes available and the counter counts your vote. Amazing bias, even the polls are rigged on Barkha TV.
