Damn These @#@% Hindu Extremists

The New York Slimes beats the familiar hollow drum using one-sided reporting and generalizations as sticks.

Hindu extremists ransacked and burned eight rural churches in eastern India, marring Christmas celebrations in a corner of the country with a history of violence against Christians, officials said Wednesday. [...] But throughout India’s history, both communities have faced repeated attacks from hardline Hindus, with violence against Christians often directed at foreign missionaries and converts from Hinduism.

Mark that: throughout India’s history. Right. When the vile Hindus are bored, they routinely set fire to Churches, and kill and pillage the "minorities." As expected, the mandatory bit about Graham Staines makes its appearance:

Orissa has one of the worst histories of anti-Christian violence. In one of the most brutal incidents, an Australian missionary and his two sons, 8 and 10, where burned to death in their car following a Bible study class in 1999.

So why were the "hardline" Hindus silent for close to 10 years and had this sudden itch to kill at the end of 2007?

NY Slimes mantra: turn your back on conversion aka the stealth-bombing attempts to uproot centuries-long way of life. When victims of conversion protest, cry murder. Damn heathens!

Bro, there isn’t a whole lot of diff between American media and the Indian ELM except that American media comes with just that extra bit of Hinduphobia and Indophobia. Hence the regular gutter inspector’s reports filed by the likes of Somini Sengupta and her ilk. Hindus get screwed both from the left and the right in American media. Lefty mouthpieces like NYT have a liberal elite’s snootiness towards Hinduism while from the right we get Jesus-freaks’ vicious propaganda against Hinduism.

    Look Guys,
We know how pedantic these US guys can get. They have some of the most backward views on evolution and they believe that the Earth and Universe are just 6000 years old. I would care a damn. Let them say whatever they want. Conversion in India is a security problem. it has to stopped. Out populace is not ready to take informed decisions about following any religion. So status quo is the best way forward.

    Sandeep,
The issue of conversion, and all of what it entails (alienation, de-nationalisation, cultural uprooting etc.) is a larger (strategic) picture. While I agree we must make efforts to point this out, I am somewhat surprised that the blogger networks have not focussed on media report of this specific incident (transaction).
http://www.rediff.com/news/2007/dec/25church.htm is typical of the reportage - notice how the first violence to which the church burning was a reaction is classified as an “alleged” attack, while the reaction alone is real.

I have no doubt that the “Father’s” worked to provoke this violence during Christmas so as to double the sympathy factor. There is not one single report that the first attack was on an 80 year old man. I guess even being old is to be denied to the Hindus.

This is much in line with what has happened in the past - they will always mention Graham Staines - but will never mention the Wadhwa report ; specifically they will never mention the kind of hate the man purveyed in the missionary journal Tidings. It is in line with the reporting in the Jhabua nun rape case , where it turned out the rapists were not “Bajrang Dal” beasts but Christain converts themselves.

Gujjubhai,if I am not wrong, NYT is a right-wing newspaper in the US. That translates into good reading whenever they write about matters of Islamic terror.
They switch to rabid Christism whenever “the religion of love” is involved.

BTW, in recent news, you can now get a Master’s degree in creation science in Texas:

Here’s the impressive faculty at Institute of Creation Research who’ll teach you :

These guys have PhD’s in hard sciences from top schools like Penn State and UCLA!! I am left shakin’ my head as to the stupidity and superstition in the US society. However, you will find that even left rags like NYT in the US treat christian fundamentalist morons with kid gloves - all the while making sure that they are seen as respecting belief and religion while “criticizing” these outliers. You will never find NYT etc ever criticizing rabid and aggressive proselytization or the inherent insulting belief of superiority over other religions held by baptists.

Cuttack, Dec. 27: Describing the spate of violence in Kandhamal as a “natural reaction”, Swami Laxmananda Saraswati today gave a clean chit to the Naveen Patnaik administration, saying that no government could have controlled such a “backlash”.

The attack on the 83-year-old Swami on December 24 had triggered violence across the tribal-dominated district and had spread to adjoining Gajapati, too.

Though the Swami believes that the “violence was spontaneous”, the attack on him “was orchestrated”, to eliminate him. “And that has put the region’s Hindus on the defensive,” he said, while talking to The Telegraph from the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. The leader looked weak, but well, lying on his bed at cabin number 3 at the hospital’s surgery department.

When asked if the Naveen government could have acted sooner before the violence, he said: “No government could have controlled a backlash, especially when it is spontaneous.” “The key to peace in Kandhamal and adjoining regions would be the state’s reassurance to check conversion of tribals by Christian missionaries,” said the Swami.

The Orissa government has already introduced a law wherein before converting, an individual has to seek police permission. The move was designed as a “deterrent” to conversion. “But the process continue just the same, though at a reduced pace, as covert operations at villages in remote areas,” the Swami regretted.

The Swami, known for his untiring zeal to check conversion of tribals into Christians in the entire southern and western Orissa, has been running the Shankaracharya Sanskruta Kanya Ashram at Jalespata, 30km south of Baliguda in Khandhamal for more than three decades now.

He was attacked near Dasingbadi, 5km from Daringbadi around noon on December 24 while he was on his way to Brahmanigaon in a Marshal jeep to perform a yagna. Five others, including an APR personnel provided by the government, were accompanying him.

“It was only by gods grace that I survived,” said the swami.

Naresh Kanhar (40), who managed to drive the jeep away from the spot said: “A bus was parked on the road in front of our jeep, blocking the way. A tree was cut to block our way back. They were more than 50 of them armed with axes and other weapons,” said the driver.

Bhubaneswar Jani (24), the APR personnel provided by the government as a bodyguard to the Swami, admitted that the attack was “terrible”.

Sandeep, thanks for an enlightened comment policy - I think you do a great service to the notion of free speech. To all others who find Chimp’s comments offensive : people, you must see the vicious bile and hatred that anti-Hindus carry in their bosom to get an idea of what you are up against. You don’t have to engage in conversation with such trollery but you must learn how brain-damaged some of our Macaulay/Marx/Mullah/Missionary-influenced brothers and sisters are. Take these comments as a motivation for a civilizing mission - look for such people in your lives, and help them remove the vitriol they carry against you with kindness. Forgive them for the hatred they carry in their bosoms because they do not know what noble civilizational heritage they are disparaging. Remember that all humans are fundamentally good until they are wrapped in Maya - that’s why Hinduism wants to look for goodness even in Duryodhana and Ravana. If we stoop down to the Abrahamic/Communist notions of “he is evil - therefore kill him/convert him/shut him up” then we won’t be living up to the true ideals of Hinduism, will we?

you mean, bile and hatred sort of kind of maybe like this list?

“liar” “cheap character”, “disgrace”, “big mouth” “empty stomach” “mullkah on a bakrid morning”, “traitors”, “muh-tod”, “self-flagellating brown sepoy”, “House Nigger”, “Bitch”, “Burn you f’in bitch, burn”, “phoney psycoanalysts”, “motherfuckers”, “bloody activists”, “freakologist”, “asswipe”, “quislings”, “Bharat-hating, mentally colonized, communist, brown outside and white inside coconut, slave dhimmi Macaulayites”, “beats the crap out of the foxtrotting pseudo-seculars”, “axis of evil”, “ass-licking of the p-sec leftards”. and plenty of “loathsome” “molo” and other.

you fill yorself up with bile and hatred, then you spill it out, then you’re surprised it comes back at you?

  27. Posted December 31, 2007 at 11:24 am | Permalink

Huh! The self-combustion argument again. You mean secularists didn’t start it and should not be responded in kind? Not even when not one but two leading secularists are openly suggesting Stalinist-type purging of a democratically elected person? Frankly, there is no need to pull punches and no need to be apologetic in countering secularist excesses who increasingly resemble the totalitarians of the not-so-recent past.

“sudden removal,” “Modi-free year.” Sorry, no amt. of words are sufficient to criticize the horrendous viciousness underlying these secular exhortations. No need to acquiesce by turning other cheek.

    Dear sandeep,

I am a huge fan of your blog. The immediate problem in AP is that the money being collected in US churches is being wire transferred on a daily basis to missionaries like Paul, Joyce meyer et al.I am privy to this, as on of the christian friend of mine confides to me of all the activities going on in his church here.

This has to be countered using PIL or some sort of litigation in AP from here. Samuel reddy has become immensely powerful in the last 3 years.

    Thanks

This is a serious threat facing our country today, Padma. look no further than waht’s going on in Orissa to see how conversion breeds social unrest, violence and societal divisions. What amazes me is that 95% of the Pana population in that district in Orissa has been converted into Christianity! If it had not been for the riots I would have never known this. Christian soul vultures have launched a systematic, meticulous campaign funded by foreign money and have targeted people in the remotest corners of the country so that they avoid the spotlight and scrutiny of the urban educated classes. By the time we all wake up to this, it wil be too late. This is nothing short of a stealth war on the very heart of Bharatiya civilization.

Here’s the Canadian soul vultures active in Orissa:

Did you know that the Mother of Jesus is based on Mary of the House of Hyssop who had roasted and eaten her own child? Upon being asked to share this meal, Mary had said, “Come eat what I have eaten, for my child shall become a by-word to the world”

This Mary of Hyssop is woven into the big lie of Jesus, that the Roman emperor Vespasian, through his son Titus, thrust upon the Messianic Jews.

You must know how Christians eat the “body of Christ” in their churches, lining up to unwittingly enact a scene that was undescribably gruesome in its original form.

Read Caesar’s Messiah, a book that lists how Jesus could not have existed, since his life story is so very closely based on the story of Titus, the Roman Caesar Vespasian’s elder son. Titus was literally “sent by his father” to subdue the messianic Jews. He started his campaogn against them at the Lake (called Sea) of Gallillee, where Roman soldiers in boats hunted down fleeing Jewish rebels in the water. They would catch tehse men like fish, bring them on board, and kill them. They joked that this was like “fishing for men”. “Fishing for men” at the sea of Gallillee is how Jesus begins his ministry. See the parallel?

There are many more parallels which occur in Titus’ and Jesus’ life in the same sequence, and the chance that thses parallels occur randomly, in the same sequence, is next to 0.

Shuvro Aikath, your signature file is too long. You should shorten the — ““liar” “cheap character”, “disgrace”, “big mouth” “empty stomach” “mullkah on a bakrid morning”, “traitors”, “muh-tod”, “self-flagellating brown sepoy”, “House Nigger”, “Bitch”, “Burn you f’in bitch, burn”, “phoney psycoanalysts”, “motherfuckers”, “bloody activists”, “freakologist”, “asswipe”, “quislings”, “Bharat-hating, mentally colonized, communist, brown outside and white inside coconut, slave dhimmi Macaulayites”, “beats the crap out of the foxtrotting pseudo-seculars”, “axis of evil”, “ass-licking of the p-sec leftards”– to something more suitable for commenting on blog posts. May I suggest you just use “retarded lobotomized cretin” and we will just take the rest of your well-deserved epithets as read into the record.

No need to thank me. It’s just that I am the helpful sort. Take care and don’t let the door hit you on your butt on the way out.
