A culturally-battered civilization whose geography was cut into two pieces on arbitrary grounds in a hurry three years before it conferred republichood on itself.
A country that had never defined itself in any terms except a shared spiritual consciousness still struggling to redefine itself in a language alien to it.
A fledgling republic where power was transferred from external slave-drivers to a native slave-driver par excellence.
A republic, which after 58 years has a puppet Prime Minister and President, both commanded by an alien.
Despite this I dearly love this country.

dude, your map of india pic doesnt show kashmir in its entirety. i didnt expect that you of all people will put up such a pic on your blog.
A culturally-battered civilization whose geography is held together by a constitution that strangely manages to work.
A country that doesn’t have to define itself in any terms except as a shared spiritual consciousness constantly evolves in hundreds of different languages, forms and thoughts.
A fledgling republic where power was transferred from uneconomical slave-drivers to a native uneconomical morons par excellence.
A republic, which after 58 years with a puppet Prime Minister and President, both commanded by an alien who has been accepted as an Indian citizen, so called commmunists and scared of blind opposition, who will most probably will be voted out of power if they continue the way they perform.
We all love our country for our own reasons.
We do not worship our heroes as much as we should. I think that’s very much needed to instill a sense of pride in our kids & the future generations. It’s not even like we’ll have to fake it, we have enough national heroes to look up to. If you look at the western countries, they do a fine job of creating & projecting their heroes. Our Indian media seems to look down upon ourselves. Our Bollywood folks can take a cue from their Hollywood brothers.
Anyway, Happy Republic Day by beloved countrymen!
i think your map is the correct depiction of india’s political borders. and if things continue the way they are we won’t be having the remaining “head” in next few decades.
it’s time we stop living in fantasy and accept the fact that even after “winning” 3 wars with Pakistan we still did not recapture our rightful land and wasted our jawans and heroes blood.
as long as dhimmis rule us, we should not expect anything better
