The govt of India did not stand up against the religious fundamentalists who physically assaulted her in Hyderbad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTDM-si7RFM) and chased her off from Kolkota.

Since time immemorial, India’s been a home to refugees from around the world. So Manmohan/Sonia’s action (or rather convenient inaction) in this entire Taslima espisode is a blot.

Can’t blame Taslima on her comments here.
