Setting the Stage for Whitewashing

Thursday, 27. November 2008 - 1:28 PM

While the army is still trying to gun ‘em down, the media has outgunned them by embarking on the mandatory yarn-spinning. Read this and participate in my outrage.

What baffles the security agencies is the sacred thread tied on his wrist which many say could be a plot to show that the attack was undertaken by probably an extreme Hindu group.

Coming from Turdesai’s horse-stable, this is obvious. But Turdesai could have at least waited. Like greedy children fighting over the dead, wealthy father’s wealth before the corpse has even turned cold, the secular media is in a hurry to proclaim, I spun it first!

Congratulations ladies and gentlemen. This is conclusive proof of whose side the Indian mainstream media is on.

The guy needs to be crucified on altar of secularism and then , (pardon me for the language) castrated. A very ‘secular’ end to a beacon of pseudosecularism in this country. Sardesai, you’re an utterly disgusting creature. If you think that this is Hindu terror may you fall prey to it or would you rather that you fall prey to someone more secular?

  2. N SHAH

oh yes! and by the way, as regards to the sacred thread–didnt our investigative media think that the thread might actually be a ploy to mislead the agnecies?? Obviously it doesnt suit their purpose in this case to do an objective analysis. Sardesai, you suck big time.

  3. srik

Muslims too wear ‘sacred’ threads from Ajmer and other Durgahs. Well… The media should at least take some responsibility for what is happening.

  4. Ot

Right now these media scumbags maybe too reticent to go all out with blatantly outrageous spin, so the real spin will start a couple days later, after the dust settles down and the dead are counted and forgotten.

  5. Kamal

American-sponsored journalists such as Rajdeep Sardesai, Karan Thapar, Ramachandra Guha and Ghosh run CNN-IBN. This team is uncomfortable with its Hindu heritage and is out there to repeatedly portray Muslims as victims. This obfuscates issues.

CNN-IBN was quick to white wash the Jaipur blasts, the Ahmedabad blasts, the Assam blasts and downplay the ideological threat facing India with its highly selective misreporting. Let’s not forget that Rajdeep Sardesai started his career in journalism with the Godhra incident and riots. I am yet to see him report on the plight of the Kashmiri Hindu.

While the Maharashtra Anti Terror Squad was busy pursuing a Congress party-sponsored-vendetta on the RSS, the Islamo-fascists carefully ochestrated this most audacious attack on India. 700 Indians have died in the past three years due to repeated terror attacks. The ruling UPA can not and will not deliver on homeland security. Its time to push them out.

But lets also expose the pro-Congress and pro-Muslim coverage of CNN-IBN which legitimizes such inept handling of national security issues.

  6. N SHAH

I couldnt help notice this on the IBN website, the word terrorist is in apostrophe! I’m truly speechless. Do they seem messiahs if not terrorists.

    have a look, http://ibnlive.in.com/news/terrorist-calls-news-channel-wants-talks-with-govt/79203-3.html

GOI awardee Param Chut*a Rajdeep Sardesai and his henchmen need to get their eyes tested. It clearly looks like a plastic gel band.

Also, the CST scumbag caught on CCTV was wearing salwaar type pants with a Versace tee, ergo, he is a paki(National dress of paki men – salwar kameej belonging to Lashkar-e-Versace. I guess madrassa logic should be valid both ways. Rudimentary application of logic is beyond the abilities of this little HinduPhobic twit. Anyways, prejudiced peoples rants don’t matter to me.

May his and terrorists’ 72 virgins have VD.

  10. Rama Krishnan

What a bastard this scum Sardesai is! Does he not have any bit of decency and morals? How could a human being so lower himself to such a degree? Let the army take over India and get rid of all anti Indian/ anti Hindu turds like Desai. We can have a democracy when we have complete security, even if it takes over 10 years.

  11. KR

These incompetent journalists like Sardesai, Sagarika, Bharkha Dutt and their fellow folks from NDTV, IBN must be stoned publicly. They have absolutely no common sense. Look at the way they were covering the incident giving away all vital information to the holed up terrorists like how many commandos were entering the hotel which way and all. Damn these media men..

  12. Action

Now how the hell is this India’s 9/11? A nation that has been subjected to “mini 9/11s” for the last 20 years is perhaps the biggest victim of terrorism.

And no I have full sympathy for innocent people who died in US but why should our tragedy that cumulatively is of bigger size than any other nation’s be described in other terms.

This is an “attack on Mumbai”. This is the “26 November attack” that shook the birthplace of human civilization, mother of human speech and tradition.

  13. Vijay

I find this kind of spin ridiculous. But well, there are people who still believe that 9/11 was an inside job. So the media wants to leave no stone unturned.

You should commend the media for following “every thread” ;-)

  14. Kalyan Sarkar

What Srik said is absolutely correct. Muslims also do wear wrist threads, very similar to what we wear.

  15. Alka

Read this priceless piece. Its an art in itself! Muslim Brotherhood: The Jews and Hindus attacked Mumbai, not Islamic jihadists by Amaresh Misra, conspiracy fantasist!

  16. Jo

    Sandeep

The portion of text which you should have given in BOLD letters is “could be a plot”. What I read from that particular sentence is IBN was saying that the terrorists made a plot to make the attack looks like it came from an extremist Hindu group. Here the blame is NOT on the Hindutva extreme groups, but on the terrorists.

  17. Ot

But that’s how insinuations are made — so that the subtext can be denied if confronted.

  18. Dnyaneshwar

    fuck of!!!
Dont try to get away by just saying mumbai spirit and stuff there is nothing called spirit…its futile excuse to get away from problem and justify and rationalize that our government can not take major (except some cosmetic) steps to fight terror..So some one next time someone says Mumbai spirit …just give him slap….

  19. Nik

    Jo
Thanks for clearing IBN / Rajdeep’s main – O dear we are such fools not to have read the fine print.

BTW – what about that dude – some Mahajan guy- on your blog who enjoyed the KAshmiri biryani so much he called our security forces ‘butchers’ just hearing some sob stories about ‘so called excesses’. I have only one word for such characters – ‘Shikhandis’including eminence Dilip Dosuza who will repeat his recordings how lack of justice makes these poor souls commit these atrocities

  20. Murali

While my blood boils in impotent rage,my futile fury against these scums and their supporters make me reel and though this is the most inappropriate time,i will still ask this.

I hate pakistan, britain,US,China as would befit a hindu nationalist. But who started it all? My heart bleeds as the mlechhas massacre innocents.

It was the bastard karu and VP Singh.Mandal in the early 90s.BJP retaliated by raising the pitch on the ram mandir issue. The problem was started by the dravidian neanderthals. We should have nipped it in the bud.The BJP/RSS tried to rewrite history.

Muslims had been reduced to poverty and deprivation in congress rule.Despite vote bank politics,it was one of the signal achievements of the congress.Wise from the experience of the freedom movement the congress had defanged the vipers. The snakes were stewing in their own pit and guilt.

Who let them out? It was the idiotic hindiwallah BJP.I recogonise the crucial role of Aryavartha in indian history. But these pathetic idiots are a pale shadow of our icons.(From Sri Rama to the freedom movement). The serious problems are kashmir,NE and the dravidian linguistic ,quota politics/racialism.

We have been burdened with an unnecessary problem that of mohammedan terrorism. This community was down and out.The BJP have created this menace. The old congress was far more subtle.

  24. Kumar

Is it really time for this discussion. Some people are so self centered, I’m not really surprised that terrorists have such easy access to our country.

  25. Jo

    Nik

That dude, some Mahajan guy at least went to the Kashmir and saw what was happening than many of us armchair analysts (I really had a tough time recollecting whom you meant by “that Mahajan guy” because this discussion happened years back in my old blog, O dear don’t you have such an excellent memory power). I’m sure he was not meaning the whole army as “butchers” but certain butchers of the army. And the human rights violation by army men are common in problematic areas world over, not only in India. BTW, do you have friends who works in Army? Ask around, I mean not to the “social friends” because you will get to hear only glorified stories, but ask your real close friends, ordinary jawans in particular. And let me know if those stories from them, about both on-field and off-field (like in their own army campus itself) did surprise you.

A friend of mine (who once told me “you cannot change a Pai, because we Pai’s are born RSS” – and no, he is not that famous Pai of the blogosphere) had said in a discussion that Army world over is fed with women of the problematic areas, with support of the blind eye of the authorities. He seems to have more sense, regardless of his political/ideological leanings because he see it from a realistic perspective. And I think that dude, some Mahajan guy was only seeing it from the same perspective.

And finally, I don’t understand why you’re bringing up this issue now. Nobody has justified the terror attacks except for some stupid Pakistani media people trying to bring up a conspiracy theory that the attacks are organized by Hindu extremists or Mossad. But no one else on the ground has supported these killing machines.

And if you would note, those who have been blaming the true patriots like Mr. Kakkare (now a martyr) was not the likes of Dilip D’Souza.

  26. Kedar

    Really!
There is something really wrong with us… at a sub-conscious, basic level…

Off-topic, on a lighter note: I tried my vocals on a Kannada song recently. Not sure how much I have butchered the language, because I don’t know a bit of the language and had to completely rely on what I heard from the original recording. :-) Oh, and the power of language has among people! Last weekend, during a friend’s wedding party here in Kerala, his friends from Bangalore came over and they were suprised to hear me singing Ninnindale, Anisuthide and Minchaagi Neenu. It actually helped me building some new friendship. :-)

Here is my latest try: http://www.jocalling.com/2008/11/minchaagi-neenu-cover/

PS: and I’m still waiting for your music related article which you had promised to write sometimes back. :-)

  29. Parsurama

Hi guys, a quick question here: how come the guy who links to the Barbarindians does not get along with you guys. I thought the message and content of that site was similar to Sandeep. Am I missing something?

  30. Raj

I’m really surprised at the outrage about this article.
“many say could be a plot to show that the attack was undertaken by probably an extreme Hindu group.”
The above clearly means that the writer/report thought it to be a plot to defame or put the blame on hindus. I would consider that rather positive. Are we on to some nitpicking to pump up the rage?

  31. RAVI

    Sandeep,
Every time we ar attacked by these fanatics dupes we get angered & enraged, But the Fact we ourselves are the facilitators & supporters of this sort of a carnage, Centuries have passed by & there has been a lac of the Unity among The Hindus on the name of the Sects,Followings, Casteist attitude & last but not the least The tribal Attitude(Raj Thackrey is a clear cut example)i.e. the Regionalism which is effecting out stance all the time, This has happened in past Remember Dashmesh Pitah anyone who was a lone crusader, on whose martyrdom rests & still furls This flag of Hinduism, who led the battle of the honour against the Moslem tyrant Aurangzeb(In him Communists see a great ruler) was marauded & cheated by then Hindu Kings as he did Not tow Their line.
The stories goes & Hindu community is full of Jai Chands & Mir Jaffars.
First thing that has to be done to clean up these factors is to cleanse the community by getting rid of the Communists,Likes of Raj Thackrey, Clans of the Nehrus( I know what Im saying, because all these people are the secular Ostrichs who do not want to see the reality).
Muslim community is all unbrazen , They are infidels & never can be faithful Guru Gobind singh Has already said about them, “ Do not bank A Muslim’s Faith even if He vows a trillion Times”. Uneducated Muslim is a Mean, while an uneducated Muslim is a Menial Bastard. This Mumbai attack is a result of the Hindu infighting as the Congress- NCP(Sharad Pawar caretaker of the Dawood Empire in Don’s absence) was more interested in Tarnishing the Image of Hindus as Terrorists.
Remember If Hindu would Become a terrorist in this Nation Then no one would remain a Muslim or Christian. There would be no place foe anyone.
Likes od Rajdeep, Nehru clan & communists are actually the sixth columnists of the Chinese & te Arab alliance
Acting sane does Not mean depriving RSS for their Roles In both Wars, where they guarded the Rail tracks in North India & transported Logistics across the Border from Ferozepur & Amritsar when The Indian Army was Fighting in Pakistan following their enemies well into their territories

  32. RAVI

I have copied/pasted below the reply from this bastard Amaresh Misra. another Turd Desai. This is his reply to my earlier email lambasting him and his article in his website. He is of the opinion that the Mumbai attack was carried out by BJP/Israel.He is real nutter as far as I can see, probably a Schizophrenia, suffering from delusion of grandeur. There are number of Muslims in India and elsewhere who think the whole Mumbai episode is the work of Hindus.Their religion makes them totally blind to the realities. You just cannot reason with them. How do you deal with these insane people? I haven’t got an answer.
    Rama
    This is his reply:
After checking my blogspot http://www.warofcivilisations.blogspot.com and the fact that I am the only Indian to have written a two volume, 2000 page book on 1857, the first war of Indian Independence, do you still think I have been funded by someone to write and that there is anything other than patriotism that motivates me?
Let me ask you one thing (and I am sorry to say this)–where were people like you when India, celebrating the 150th anniversary of 1857, needed an indigenous, non-western perspective about one of the greatest anti-colonial struggles in world history, something which is still called `Mutiny’ by the British?
I wrote this mammoth book when probbaly people like you, instead of supporting writers like me doing genuine were probably reading the stuff imposters like Dalrymple write.
I wrote this book while going through pain, without comfort for several days; fighting with my wife; with my whole family who thought I was crazy doing such a work for a little advance; with the Indian academic establishment famously reticent about generating resources for nationalist perspectives–why? I have several relatives in the US and I too could have taken up a plush job there. I had several offers.
What bothers me are the easy assumptions of you NRIs; I have put my life in line fighting against RSS and Moditva, especially after Modi personally orchestrated the butchering of hundreds of his own people in that train in Godhra. As a true Sanatani Hindu, I was ashamed; I was also ashamed that the Indian constitution was in tatters.
I really worry for people like you–I think the days of the upper caste intelligentsia in India are over. You people think you are liberals–but if scratched the anti-Muslim, anti-Dalit, anti-backward caste biases become evident.
You do not realize the challenges India is going through. There is a serious attempt to partition this country again–how else would you explain the fact that an event like 1857 and my book were downplayed even though 1857 presents a beacon of not only Hindu-Muslim unity but unity in diversity and the promise India once had to carve out its own non-colonial, non-western path of development?
Modi and Advani talk about nationalism–I had claimed in my book that 10 million Indians were killed during the 1857 wars and articles appeared in the London Guardian on the theme. But Modi or Advani, they never cared for calling me up to congratulate me.
You do not know the likes of Modi–his is another Dawood. He is criminal who got even his own Hiren Pandya killed.
Modi conspired with Ratan Tata to plan the Mumbai terror attack. See the pattern–the BJP was going to lose in all coming elections; the Praggya Singh case had exposed the underbelly of Sangh terrorism. So Modi gives a `supari’ to some mastermind in the middle-east or Israel. That mastermind collects his own so called `Jihadis’–boys who probably had little clue about how they were being manipulated.
Why can’t Mossad kill its own people (like what happened in Nariman House)? Mossad has done it before and even a child knows this; you only have to go onto the net; recently a Muslim `Jihadi’ organization in Yemen was found to have been a Mossad set-up.
The Ratan Tata-Modi nexus is well knwon–then the man who owns Oberoi, Nanda is a very close supporter of Modi.
You are either too ignorant or live in a make-believe Matrix type world where you do not want to see reality. Or maybe, the time of upper caste intellectuals is over. India needs a new infusion of blood–and that can only come from the suppressed minorities, Dalits and backwards.

see also how the debate has moved to politicians and politicizing the terror. Instead of tackling the problem in hand, the focus has become how to ‘non-politicize’ the terror. The great Karan Johhar has this to say ‘kudos to NSG and bash the politicians’ (meaning BJP). So, how are we guys going to tackle the proble, if the medica hijacks the issues towards politicians… Coming to think of it, I It goes without saying that Cong has government cant even run a golf club, let alone a country… But, it is strange to see that BJP is being criticized for critizing the Congress government. English Media is making a fools out of us.

“Human rights? Yes, we will respect the human rights of the terrorists and their sponsors and their local supporters to the extent that they respect the human rights of our people.”

In this context, it is worthwhile to recall the incarceration of Gujarat cop Vanzara. He eliminated a terrorist before the terrorist struck. We eulogize Karkare, NSG etc today, and rightly so, but Vanzara is languishing in custody for getting rid of a terrorist. A bunch of crypto-jihadis is gunning for his neck with legal activism. Guess who is helping them along? The Gujarat government, trying to show that it is even more concerned about “human rights” than they.

any of you in bangalore? a candle light march being planned this sunday, to show anger at ‘politicians’. can expect media, and can expect a carefully choreographed show aimed at select ‘politicians’.

those in bangalore, young, bravehearts, how about showing up at this event with some posters of the real ‘politicians’ that we need to be mad about? and engage the media if they show up?

  61. 2bornot2b

My take on why CNN-IBN and NDTV has gained credibility. As people we have always looked upon english speakers as more knowledgeable than the ones that do not speak the language. when well dressed and modern looking men and women speak english without a hiccup, most of our non-english speaking public develop credibility (due to our defeciency in speaking the language so fluently). our non-english speaking public beleve them to be true. I was a culprit of this once as i believe everword these people uttered on TV. Due to the already set in credibility factor, i did not pay attention to what their motives could be. Now it is all clear…

Another feature of english channels, is they have to distance themselves from the common public wearing bindis on their forehead and who have blind faith in the existence that it will all be taken care of (Hindu philosophy). They do this by shunning anythign Indian in their appearance and distance themselves by bashing the common man i described above. Only by distancing themselves from teh common man, they can show their affinity towards the sponsors that mainly target english speaking audience. English media have distanced themselves from the humble, modest Hindu that wears his faith on his sleeve (and in their foreheads). ELM’s are meaningless. But, that humble man, believes the ELM’s due to them looking cool and appearing to be credible.
