Meanwhile, Nobody Pays Any Attention to This

The steady extermination, and/or conversion of Hindus in Pakistan has been a steady feature since 1947. On this side, we have exhibited characteristic apathy, in the same period. This news report is a continuation of the same status quo.
In the past four years, some 5,000 Hindus may have crossed over from Pakistan, never to return. It has not been easy abandoning their
homes, sometimes even their families, but they say they had no choice: they had to flee the Taliban.
It started as a trickle in 2006, the year the Thar Express was flagged off. The weekly train starts from Karachi, enters India at Munabao, a border town in Barmer, and runs up to Jodhpur. In the first year, 392 Hindus crossed over.
This grew to 880 in 2007. The next year, the number was 1,240, and this year, till August, over 1,000 have crossed over. They just keep extending their visas and hope to become Indian citizens.
Their plight is heart rending for you and me.
The fear of Taliban is just another facet of the issue. The larger issue is the real plight of Hindus in the Land of Pure. They have, and will continue to remain worse than Dhimmis, ripe meat for the picking–their wives and daughters carried away and ravished at will. But their condition will not be highlighted or even mentioned in any international “Human Rights (sic)” forums, the media, or talk shows. The “plight” of an Afzal Guru, and Kasab, the new star-in-the-making is far more rewarding than the thousands of Hindu families that prefer to abandon everything and become refugees just so they can continue to live as Hindus.
Without exaggeration, these people are true Hindus, unafraid and unashamed of calling themselves so and I salute them. They’re neither the “safe” nor the “liberal” Hindus who think of their Hinduness as only a subject for intellectual masturbation. And they have had a very bitter taste of what the Religion of Peace does.
Now, just picture the hollering that’d surely erupt if Indian Muslims had similarly fled to Pakistan citing the same reasons. Oh and according to Renuka “Pub” Chowdhury, we do have a Hindu Taliban (sic sic sic).
Endnote: What surprised me most was the fact that the Slimes actually reported this. In their scheme of things, the lives of Hindus don’t matter.

We are still controlled by external forces,Indian intelligentsia which is very powerful entity controls media and academics even today and this intelligentsia is alien is our culture.
Who said we got freedom in 1947? I don;t believe, freedom is still long way to come and all us have to work hard and help people to feel genuinely proud of our culture, only self respect can make us strong.
Nobody respects week, we have to become more stronger, the day Hindus realizes, it could be too late.

What’s new? Nobody paid attention when 400,000 HIndus were driven out of Kashmir (within India’s borders), so who is going to raise an uproar about Hindus outside India? HIndus themselves don’t care so no one else is going to do the “caring” for them.

Oh now the US is thinking of pulling out of Afghanistan eventually, Kashmir is where they will all go to as this article states…
http://www.csmonitor.com/2009/1008/p99s01-duts.html
after all Hindus have all been hounded out of their home from there and I am sure Pakistanis will find a safe home there…
Soon it will be hard to imagine that once upon a time Hindus and Buddhists lived in Kashmir…
Makes you depressed when you look at how ugly and dirty the place has become while the population receives the highest government subsidies of any state…all down the tubes for nothing…as if people there are going to change with the government giving them subsidies…

Noted the Slimes article regarding Hindus arriving in droves from Pakistan also.Could that be a PTI release? But then Slimes has not reported on the number of Pakis who entered India and disappeared, including those who came here to watch cricket and have their hair done (remember?!).
Who benefits from all the trains and buses going back and forth between India and Pak? Certainly not us! Why are they there?
Apparently, Bangladesh has the world’s largest deposits of natural gas, which India desperately wants; therefore India doesn’t want to seal its’ border with Bangdesh. They look the other way when all the Bang bongs troop over to disappear inside India.
Recently, 2 Bang bongs were arrested in Pune, one of whom was earning more than Rs 70,000/- per month (again c/o Slimes).
What a Mozzie harvest!

Well the government does not give a damn about its own citizens within the country–it could hardly be espected to protect Indians outside the country. I was shocked to see the treatment of Indians in Dubai:

I’m quite impressed with the intellectual stamina that you have to constantly remind us of the failures of the Indian State towards ‘secularism’.
Despite that, this was the last piece of news I expected you to highlight. Do you honestly think that this government (or for that any government) has ever cared an iota for us here, that you’d expect them to open up their hearts for Hindus from across the border. Wake up Sandeep!

Government allows Pakistani Hindus to stay longer now:

Of course, Bangladeshi Muslims are welcome to stay forever !
